The Eclipse fort is 6'x 6' (deck floor) and rests approximately 5 feet off the ground. It's designed for children under the age of 12 and can support over 250lbs! All-bolt construction (no nails to work loose), 4x4 framing and other strengthening features are used to insure the strongest sturdiest 'Build-it-Yourself' playset. Anchor rods and/or supports are never needed with Plan-it Play kits.
The Eclipse's dimensions are 6'W x 9'L x 10'H (6' x 14' x 10' with slide). A six foot safety-zone perimeter is recommended around our playsets (3 feet minimum). The ladder steps are wide and flat designed around our powder-coated 14 gauge brackets (hardware included). Each kit has an easy to follow 3D illustrated manual which includes a lumber purchase/check sheet.
Approximate lumber cost is $450-475. View lumber purchase sheet below.

I am very impressed with the instructions in this kit. We've been searching for a playset to fit our awkward yard and couldn't find anything in our budget that we liked.
I'm a Do It Yourself-er and I would say my carpentry skills are at a novice to moderate level. My husband convinced me that we could build the playset on our own. After searching for plans, I came around Planitplay.com and I am so happy I did!
The kit arrived within a few days. The instructions are very clear, giving very detailed measurements and pre-drill instructions. I spent a couple of hours over the course of a few nights cutting and pre-drilling the pieces. Actual assembly took a few hours. The hardest part of leveling the ground where we were putting the playset.
We customized a few pieces (added a floor to the bottom). Overall I recommend Plan It Play to anyone with basic skills. It was easy enough for this mom to do and my kids love it!
